TAURAS-FENIX is Ready to Upgrade Dairy Enterprises of Leningrad Region

Representatives of TAURAS-FENIX machinery works participated in a meeting dedicated to the development of the agro-industry and fishery complex of the Leningrad Region. The event was held at the site of the St. Petersburg State Agrarian University. The main guests of the event were Government officials, including the Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Yuryevich Drozdenko, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Region Bebenin Sergey Mikhailovich and representatives of the supervisory structures in the field of agriculture, heads of industrial enterprises engaged in design and sale of products for agriculture need.

It was noted at the plenary meeting that today the Leningrad Region is demonstrating a significant increase in domestic production of livestock products. Territorial entity, in which the largest participants in the agricultural sector are based, takes leading positions in the field of milk processing. The annual volume of processed products is of 40% higher than the average yield in the Russian Federation. According to the Committee on the Agro-Industry and Fishery Complex, 180 thousand tons of whole-dairy products were produced in the Leningrad Region in 2018, while in the forefront of Russian agriculture milk production in the agricultural sector in 2018 is 595.2 thousand tons.

The Governor of the Leningrad Region A. Yu. Drozdenko noted: “The main task of the Government is to increase the output of livestock products and expand the range of dairy products. And we, of course, will support and stimulate the development of enterprises contributing to the solution of this task and assist them in the introduction of innovative technologies on-site”.

The event also included industry participants’ presentation and products and technologies exhibition. The Head of the Sales Department of the Dairy Division of the TAURAS-FENIX plant Sergey Chesnov presented the film about the Company's activities to those present. The Company’s employees told the exhibitors about the equipment produced and the plant's future tasks to assist dairy products enterprises in terms of production re-equipment and facilities modernisation.

The AIC market participants got to know that in the line of the produced equipment a significant part is occupied by the lines of dairy products filling and complex solutions for packaging of sour-milk products. The plant carries out a complete manufacturing cycle of equipment for filling and packaging products in soft packages: a pillow-bag, a flat-bottom bag, a heat-sealed edges bag and a Doy-Pack type bag; in cardboard packaging with a gable (Gable Top type); in plastic containers (PET bottles, cups, containers); in glass containers and also in packages like Flow-Pack bag type. The plant offers the manufacturers high-performance and European quality equipment.

It is worth saying that a properly organised technological production process is capable to retain all the most useful products’ properties therefore TAURAS-FENIX carefully approaches to the introduction of technologies and the choice of materials. Raw materials used by the Company meet all safety standards and comply with the hygienic use rules. The equipment is made of special food grade AISI 304 stainless steel with a certain degree of protection. All machine components and metal parts in contact with the products are made of corrosion-resistant materials permitted by special supervisory organisations. In the manufacture of equipment for specific types of products the enterprise uses modern technologies. So, in the choice of equipment dairy manufacturers are guided not only by the materials quality but also by the use of innovative technologies in the process of its production.
