TAURAS-FENIX Equipment is a Link in Technological Chain of Baranka Production

On May 17, 2019 a seminar “Baranka production: reboot” was held in St. Petersburg for the bakery and confectionery industry’s participants. The event was attended by Russian plants and enterprises owners, managers, engineers and technologists.

The business program of the event was divided into two thematic blocks. In the framework of the presentation part of the seminar representatives of the largest players in the food industry spoke to the seminar participants who came from different regions of the Russian Federation and Ukraine.

Among the business program main topics for discussing was bakery and confectionery industry’s development. This topic was highlighted by Tatyana Gordeyeva, Marketing Director of TAURAS-FENIX JSC, who told the audience about the confectionery market’s trends and modern technological and packaging equipment solutions, the competitiveness of the bakeries lines, and presented TAURAS-FENIX experience in solving consumer tasks in equipping production with complete lines for packaging and filling and confectionery equipment.

Voinova, Head Corporate Services Department of Petersburg Mill, L. Kuznetsova, Chief Researcher and M. Burykin, Junior Researcher of St. Petersburg branch of the Institute for Scientific Research and Design, were also the spokespersons of the seminar’s presentation part. Spokespersons’ presentations were devoted to the selection of optimal equipment for baranka production, liquid components dispensing and flour bulk storage, baranka quality control by means of Checkweighers and X-ray systems, special features of baranka production, energy supply in tunnel furnaces operation, nutritional value calculation in relation to the introduction of restrictions on the upper limit of sugar content in bakery products.

After the business part a field-trip to NS-Product enterprise located in the town of Sestroretsk was organised for the seminar’s participants. The industry’s representatives were shown modern automated complete cycle of baranka production, which is operated by only 4 specialists. Participants were demonstrated the work of all equipment units involved throughout the entire production process: from dough preparation to packaging. It is noteworthy that each machine that is the line part was made in Russia. Thanks to modern technologies and high speeds NS-Product enterprise manufactures up to 8 tons of end products per day.

The seminar’s participants were personally convinced that the integrated approach and close-knit partnership work of several Russian enterprises make it possible to solve the global challenges of modernising industry’s enterprises.

According to feedback from the leadership, who attended the seminar, the event program was interesting and informative. Many of them noted warm democratic atmosphere of the event, the spokespersons’ professional competence and the high level of organisation.
