40 dairy enterprises representatives visited TAURAS-FENIX

On May 28, 2019 a delegation of dairy industry representatives visited TAURAS-FENIX. Milk processors, food processing equipment manufacturers and foreign press took part in the event organised by the plant within the XI DAIRY OLYMPIAD 2019.

Within the event framework TAURAS-FENIX organised a Conference on the development of manufacturing the equipment for the dairy industry and state support of enterprises in this industry. The Conference spokespersons were Svetlana Prodanova, Head of the Machine-Building Department for Food and Processing Industries of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Road Building Machinery of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and Alla Yelizarova, Director of Rosspetsmash Association of Specialized Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers. The experts told the participants about the measures of state support of food enterprises. In particular attention was paid to export promotion programs and assistance in promoting domestic products to foreign markets. Manufacturers can subsidise product certification costs (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1388 dated December 17, 2016), costs associated with manufacturers’ participation in congress and exhibition events (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 488 dated April 24, 2017), and can reimburse for the product transportation expenses (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 496 dated April 26, 2017). At the same time, as Alla Yelizarova explained, in 2019 the amount of funds under this program will be significantly reduced. In comparison with 2018 (the limit was 13.1 million roubles) for 2019 only 5 million roubles were built into the project for all branches.

According to the Strategy of Machine-Building for the Russian Federation Food and Processing Industry Development by 2030 the worked-out measures, including special subsidies and preferential loans programs, will contribute to the industry growth. By 2030 the exports share from the CIS countries will increase by 32% and the domestic enterprises’ share in the market – by 20%.

At the same time the main topic of discussion was devoted to the food engineering development and stimulation of home demand for domestic equipment. According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation official the program of subsidising discount on domestic machinery and food equipment will be approved this year. However Government Decree No. 547 will be significantly amended. Today it is known that 2.1 billion roubles has been budgeted for the program implementation, however, the final conditions for subsidies applicants should be expected in the final version of the Resolution, which will be signed by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The event was moderated by Tatyana Gordeeva, Marketing Director of TAURAS-FENIX JSC. She shared the experience of the plant’s participation in the subsidy program in 2017 and 2018, spoke about large projects implemented by the Company aimed at food production upgrading and production lines automating with high-performance equipment and integrated domestic packaging solutions.

After the Conference the delegation visited the TAURAS-FENIX plant and got acquainted with the enterprise’s capacities. The participants were shown the complete manufacturing cycle of high-tech bottling lines and machines for packaging of dairy products.

At the end of the business part a gala dinner was organised for the plant’s guests.
