1.1 if, during the warranty period, the Buyer decides to preserve the equipment or to use it on another production site, the Buyer must inform TAURAS-FENIX JSC in writing and follow manufacturer’s recommendations on equipment shut-down, dismantling, preservation, as well as its packaging for transportation.
In case of non-reporting or non-compliance with recommendations of TAURAS-FENIX JSC about the upcoming preservation of equipment, its possible dismantling or relocation to another production site, during the warranty period may lead to adverse effects for the Buyer.
Keep in mind that improper preservation, storage, and transportation of equipment can later lead to releasing of low-quality products, equipment malfunctions or breakdowns, and failure to provide warranty service.
ATTENTION! After depreservation of the equipment or reinstalling it to a new industrial site, it is necessary to perform a set of works, related to a new equipment adjustment.
1.2 For preservation, storage and/or transportation of the equipment, the technical requirements of equipment manufacturer should be complied:
- machines in the climatic category (NF) 4.2 according to GOST 15150;
- storage conditions while storing in the manufacturer's package in accordance with the group of storage conditions 1 (L) according to GOST 15150;
- transportation in accordance with the group of storage conditions 4 (G2), in terms of physical impact – according to group "C" (GOST 23170).
- machines (equipment) in the package must be stored in closed, heated rooms. STORAGE IN OPEN AREAS IS NOT ALLOWED.
Storage conditions – according to the group of storage conditions 1 (L) GOST15150, at air temperature from +5 to +40 °C and at relative humidity of no more than 60 % at + 20 °C.
Before packing of machines, information signs, unpainted metal surfaces of machines, spare parts (except parts made of stainless steel) must be preserved with preservation oil K-17 GOST 10877 in accordance with the requirements of GOST 9.014 (product group I-2, temporary protection variant v3-1, packaging variant VU-3).
2.1 Machine disconnection from the power supply must be performed by qualified electricians with category not lower than IV.
2.2 Disconnection from compressed air systems, water supply and drainage systems must be performed by a qualified locksmith-mechanic with category not lower than IV and a locksmith-plumber with category not lower than V.
2.3 During the dismantling, machine’s separate modules must be transported by a fork-lift truck. When lifting modules, direct the fork lift truck from the side of the module (!) between the screw-on supports.
3.1 The operating processes of preservation, packaging, loading and unloading are permitted to persons, which are 18 plus, who have no medical contraindications for the results of medical examinations in accordance with the applicable orders of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation, who has passed training, verification of knowledge and skills, including in the field of labor protection in accordance with GOST 12.0.004 and who has studied technology, machinery, operation principles of equipment and materials exploitation.
3.2 Preservation includes surface preparation, temporary protection and packaging.
3.3 Preservation is performed with the use of preservation oil K-17 GOST 10877.
Preservation oil K-17 is used for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, except copper and its alloys, magnesium and its alloys, that may cause darkening of the surface.
3.4 Information signs, unpainted metal surfaces of machines, spare parts, as well as other parts and assembly units, except for parts made of stainless steel, are also subjected to preservation.
3.5 The preserved parts and surfaces of the equipment must be without corrosion damage on metal and on metal coatings. Visual signs of metal corrosion are shown in Table 1.

3.6. The preserved surfaces should not contain traces of mineral oils, lubricants, cooling emulsions mixed with metal shavings and dust, other contaminants, carbon deposits from grinding and polishing pastes.
Surface preparation and methods of cleaning, removing dirt and rust according to GOST 9.014 and GOST 9.402.
ATTENTION! After cleaning, the storage period of parts and surfaces, are subjected to preservation is not more than 2 hours.
3.7 Products, to be preserved, must have a room air temperature. The air temperature in the preservation area should be at least 15°C, and the relative humidity should not exceed 70%.
3.8 Rooms, where preservation oil K-17 is used, must be equipped with supply and exhaust ventilation, artificial lighting must be explosion-proof.
It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to turn off the ventilation during operation.
3.9 Preservation oil K-17must be stored in the manufacturer's package.
3.10 It is FORBIDDEN to handle an open fire in a room for storage and use of preservation oil K-17.
3.11 it is FORBIDDEN to use glassware (cans, glasses) for filling of preservation materials!
Storage of preservation oil and its containers on the site of preservation is NOT ALLOWED.
It is NOT ALLOWED to leave open container with preservation oil, it should be closed after using.
3.12 In the preservation area, it is not allowed to perform works related to the formation of abrasive and other types of dust, as well as the storage of acids, alkalis, etc.
3.13 It is NOT ALLOWED to use tools that sparks at hit, during opening containers (cans) with preservation oil K-17.
3.14 To perform a visual inspection during quality control of preservation oil K-17 – it should be a viscous oily liquid of dark brown color, the content of water, as well as sand and other abrasive substances among with mechanical impurities are not allowed.
3.15 During operation with preservative oil K-17, it is necessary to use cotton or rubber gloves.
It is FORBIDDEN to handle preserve products and parts with naked hands during the preservation process.
3.16 The outer surfaces of parts (without special disassembly) should be lubricated by preservation oil K-17. Apply and brush a layer of lubricant over the entire surface to be preserved.
3.17 Parts, lubricated by preservation oil, should be packed in a single layer of paraffined or packaging paper. Parts with splines and teeth, as well as parts with weight 15 kg or more, should be wrapped in two layers of paper.
3.18 During filling of preservation oil K-17, it is necessary to collect it in a separate container, wipe the spill site with a dry cloth. If you spill it in an open area, cover up with sand the spill site and then remove it.
3.19 In case of ignition of preservation oil K-17 use the following fire-extinguishing means: sprayed water; foam; for total flooding: carbon dioxide, composition of LPG, composition " 3,5 " and superheated steam.
ATTENTION! In case of fire inside the preservation area or inside the nearby room, immediately turn off the ventilation and close the air dampers along the entire line of the air circuit!
Depreservation includes removing of package and preservation oil K-17 from the outer surface or from internal parts of mechanisms.
Unpacking of machine must be performed without damaging of equipment.
Removing of preservation lubricant is performed with the use of solvent petroleum spirit Nefras C2-80/120 TU 38.401-67-108.
The needs for represervation can be caused by detection of defects in temporary anti-corrosion protection during storage (the appearance of corrosion damage or defection of coating integrity).
For represervation of machine (equipment) use the preservation oil K-17 and inner packaging dedicated for preservation.
6.1 Under the transportation terms and conditions, machine and its parts, must be packed in a way to provide safety storage, without damaging.
6.2 Machine component parts, that are to be removed during transportation must be wrapped in plastic film according to GOST 10354, placed in the main crate and fastened with a steel tape N-0, 5x20 GOST 3560.
6.3 Electric cabinets must be packed in plastic film cover according to GOST 10354 in a way to prevent moisture ingress. As an adsorbent for drying, the plastic cover should be packed with technical silicone gel SHSMG GOST 3956 in the amount of 0.2 kg
6.4 Spare parts kits and replacement parts kits must be wrapped in PE film (GOST 10354) and placed in crates according to GOST 15623. Packing category KU-1 according to GOST 23170, internal packing variant - VU-3 according to GOST 9.014.
The box with spare parts, replacement parts, tools and accessories must be placed in the main crate (cargo space # 1) and fastened with a steel tape H-0.5×20 according to GOST 3560. 6.5 Crate for packing of machines must comply with GOST 10198:
- with dimensions up to 1200 mm – it should be packed into unassembled wooden crates, covered with plywood or wood-fiber on 24 external bars and with carriers-bars on the bottom (type VI-1);
- at dimensions over 1200 mm - it should be packed into wooden crates with side, end boards and a lid with frame-type design, with a boarded floor on carriers. Crates are undismountable, with nailed joint. (type VII-1).
6.6 During the designing and manufacturing of crates, consider the conditions of transportation, the areas of destination and rules and requirements according to Normative Documents.
6.7 Transport marking must meet the requirements of GOST 14192.
6.8 Use the fork-lift truck for transportation and loading of machines in package.
Loading and placing of machine on the cargo transport, must be carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of loading and transportation, specified in the operation documentation for this type of transport, or with the requirements of normative and technical documentation for this transport.
6.9 To provide safety and prevent unacceptable use of the machine after the termination of its exploitation (end of service life), it must be dismantled, disassembled and disposed of.
6.10 The disposal of equipment is carried out at the expense of the Buyer, in accordance with the rules established for this type of equipment, in compliance with the requirements of SanPiN 2.1.7.1322 "Hygienic requirements for placing and disposal of industrial and consumer wastes. Sanitary and epidemiological rules and regulations", as well as the requirements of the Federal law of the Russian Federation from 24.06.1998 N89-FZ "About the production and consumption wastes".
